Hoi An Hotel Review
Betel Garden Homestay
BookLocation: Cua Dai Road
From: USD 39.00
Absolutely lovely boutique hotel in a beautiful quaint town. The staff were delightful, the room was lovely, the bed comfortable and the food delicious. I would recommend this to any traveller and I wish we had such quality accommodation in North America at such a price. Thank you Betel for a wonderful experience.- 17/08/2010, Ms. Marta Wenschlag
The staff and owner were so thoughtful and caring of all their guests during our stay there. We arrived on a day when several guests (of their six/seven-room homestay) were arriving at the same time. So that night, they held a dinner for all of us in the courtyard...about 11 guests, three staff and the owner. The food was delicious, there was course after course, and it was all a generous treat they provided free of charge for everyone. This was the type of kindness they exhibited throughout the entire stay. We would definitely stay at Betel Garden Homestay again when we go back to Hoi An.- 13/05/2010, Mr. Dylan Dow

Hai Au Hotel

From: USD 25.00
we were very pleased with Hai Au hotel. The lady's were very friendly and they give us all help we needed.- 29/07/2010, Mr. Gerrit Jan Meijberg
Our stay at Hai Au was one of the best of our travels so far (and we have been travelling for two months). The reception team were so friendly and caring and they went out of their way to help us or just to take time to see how we were. It was Colin's birthday while we were staying with them and they even got him a cake! We really enjoyed our stay at Hai Au and would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody looking for a place to stay in Hoi An.- 28/04/2010, Mr. colin redfearn

Phuoc An Hotel
BookLocation: Downtown
From: USD 25.00
Lovely people, charming hotel. Have recommended it to friends- 30/08/2010, Ms. Lynda White
Our accommodation at Phuoc An was really good. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. When our flights were again delayed they organised earlier flights for us. They were very friendly and when travelling to Hoi An again we will be staying there. The only thing I could suggest they improve would be the breakfast and that would be to include ham or bacon, otherwise it was great.- 25/04/2010, Mrs. Leah Burton

Hoi An Hotel
BookLocation: Downtown
From: USD 59.00
Hotel staff were wonderful, and very friendly. The Hotel is in a great location. Even though there were renovations underway, this was managed in a way so as to minimise the effect on guests, which was appreciated. We would certainly recommend the hotel to others.- 19/07/2010, Mr. Michael Swartz

Cua Dai Hotel
BookLocation: Cua Dai Road
From: USD 38.00
The Cua Dai Staff is frendly and helpful and the facilities are great. Rooms are sharp and clean and the pool and overall hotel is a great find. Breakfast is excellent and the location of the hotel is good.- 07/08/2010, Mr. Gary HACKER
Would not recommend the food from the restaurant menu, as it takes at least an hour to arrive, is cold or dry by then and very pricey considering it comes from the owners restaurant in town.- 12/07/2010, Ms. Sally Culver

Dong Khanh Hotel
BookLocation: Downtown
From: USD 24.00
We stayed at the Dong Khanh Hotel in Hoian. The Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were also extremely halpful and just did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The room was clean, well serviced and comfortable. As much hot water we needed to shower and clean towels every day. Their cheerful attitude made our stay very happy. In our travels through Vietnam and Cambodia it was definately our favourite place. We were sad to leave.- 06/12/2007, Ms. Barbara Smyth
Value for money at this hotel is excellent. The service is brilliant. There is nothing more we could have wished for here. It was a bonus to find that this hotel has a swimming pool. Dai, and other staff here, made sure we had an excellent stay, so much, that we stayed an extra two nights, to enjoy more, the beautiful town of Hoi An.- 10/09/2007, Mr. David Banfield

Huy Hoang 1 Hotel
BookLocation: Downtown
From: USD 22.00
We had the best room in the hotel for 2 nights and it was large and had a lovely river view. However the furniture was shabby, the light fittings broken and the bathroom not very clean. The beds were large but extremely hard and uncomfortable. The position of the hotel is great, right on the river, next door to the daily markets- fine if you are an early riser but noisey if you like to sleep past 5am. There is much better places for us $35 per night! One night we slept in one of the cheaper rooms and it was awful- cramped, no window, broken furniture/lighting and not too clean!- 14/01/2010, Ms. Kathryn Emery
The personnel was very nice and give good advice. I think that the room should be refreshed especially considering the price of the room. - 29/11/2008, Ms. Magali Bru

Hoa My Hotel
BookLocation: Downtown
From: USD 15.00
I arrived at the hotel in a taxi from Da Nang. I had agreed to pay $10 for the taxi, and when another tourist got in neither of us confirmed that it would still be $10 total. Of course, when we got to the hotel the taxi driver said it was $10 each, and I didn't really care enough to argue. One of the hotel staff oversaw this and promised to get me a cheaper taxi when I returned to the train station, and promptly made a phone call without my consent. She returned saying she'd booked one... for $14. Excellent. She also tried, quite persistently, to sell me tours in Ha Long Bay, as she found out I was going to Hanoi. I had to keep reminding them I'd booked online, especially at breakfast as those who hadn't used hoian-hotels had to pay for their meal. This put a bit of a dampener on my stay, as I had hoped for Hoi An to be a relaxing two days in between the hectic Saigon and Hanoi. Still, the hotel itself wasd very nice and had everything I needed, including a cheap mini bar and excellent A/C.- 23/08/2010, Mr. Toby Sandison
