It is a good story and a great product and has grown to employs over 20 young artists, some of whom you can observe in action in the workshop at the back of the storey. These artists have been professionally trained so that every product is top of the line.

Reaching Out has gone the extra step and brought their talents to Hoi An and provides a wide range of products reflecting Vietnam's broad cultural diversity.

There is more to 'Reaching Out' than the physical & online stores, and there are ways that you can directly get involved: Sponsorship, Wish List, Volunteer, & Guided Tours

Hoi An Orphanage

The Orphanage is home to 63 children (26 of them have some sort of disability). Many have been abandoned simply because their families did not have the ability to feed them.

The children are very happy to receive the visitors; they love the interaction with tourists and locals alike. The children without disabilities generally tend to speak English and attend regular school.

The Orphanage is running at full capacity and has a long waiting list. Donations of any kind are welcome and if you cannot visit our wonderful children, just ask the hotel for a wish list of what is needed and ensure your contribution will go towards where it is needed most.
