Caring and supporting people with disabilities, as well as orphaned children in Da Nang City and Hoi An town.
The director of Nhi Nhi Hotel knows what it is like to have to make it on your own. His self-made success started in an auto parts store in Danang 23 years ago. Now he is involved in helping others get started with their lives and careers. He has taken over 100 young people, helped raise them and offered them opportunities.
The Nhi Nhi Hotel has also linked with 4 different charities: 2 in Hoi An, and 2 in Danang that promote generosity and help the young people to whom a little support could make a great difference for their future.
Reaching Out: A group of young disabled artists have come together to showcase their creative talent and craftsmanship with all who come through the door.
The Red Cross Vocational Training Center: The centre offer free services for disabled young adults. Young Women can learn embroidery and young men train to be proficient with silkscreening and media printing. There is also a sewing class offered to both men and women and most graduates eventually find jobs with tailor shop in Hoi An or companies in the area.
The Village of Hope: The Village is a home for orphans and children whose parents cannot afford to care for them. Of 150 children, 41 have hearing disabilities. The village is looking for more sponsorship so that it can open a carpentry workshop on the premises. It also raises funds to help poor parents, often widows, and rebuild homes destroyed by natural disasters.
Hoi An Orphanage: It is home to 63 children from around Hoi An, 26 of who have some type of disability. Most of these children have been abandoned simply because their families did not have the ability to feed them.
Nhi Nhi hotel can help to arrange visits, provide tourists, and a wish list - to let tourists have a chance to see how even a small contribution from them can make a big different to these people's lives.
