Hoi An Hotel
Back in the 16th century, Hoi An grew from a sleepy little fishing village into a flourishing port that became one of the main centers of trade in the south east Asian region. Ships sailed here from Europe and from all over Asia. Trade with China and Japan, in particular, became so hectic that merchants from both countries came to Hoi An to live, married local beauties and built homes and temples in the style of their native lands.
