Hoi An Accommodation Cua Dai Hotel Sustainability

Mrs. Trinh Diem Vy - Director

Mrs. Trinh Diem Vy was born in 1971 and has many years experience in the hotel and restaurant industries. She is very friendly and hospitable, with the belief that while profit is important, it is by no means everything.

Cua Dai Hotel has 16 staff members providing 24-hour service. All staff have been trained in tourism courses. They can speak English fluently and are always enthusiastic and friendly, and want to meet guests’ needs.

Caring for destination

This accommodation provider has taken action to address one or more issues (whether environmental, social or cultural) which will contribute positively to the long term viability of the destination and hence their site displays a Caring for the destination rating.

Main area of focus in Caring for the Destination:

Reducing the poverty of the families in the countryside and helping street children

Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:

We realize our guests would like to see the benefits of tourism shared with as many as possible.  Our hotel is doing what it can to help address the imbalance in wages and living standards between those who are outside the direct impact of tourism and those who have seen their lives elevated from tourist based industries.  The Cua Dai hotel employs as many people as possible from the countryside and takes the extra time and effort to train them.  As a responsible company we also have links with the Street Children Centre and the Center for Social Affairs that allows guests to give back donation to worthy causes.  Have a restful holiday knowing that we are behind the scenes supporting the improved sustainability of the area.
