"The staff and owner were so thoughtful and caring of all their guests during our stay there. We arrived on a day when several guests (of their six/seven-room homestay) were arriving at the same time. So that night, they held a dinner for all of us in the courtyard...about 11 guests, three staff and the owner. The food was delicious, there was course after course, and it was all a generous treat they provided free of charge for everyone. This was the type of kindness they exhibited throughout the entire stay. We would definitely stay at Betel Garden Homestay again when we go back to Hoi An."

"The Betel Garden homestay was excellent. Whilst a little ways out of town we found the homestay great value for money. It is in quiet surroundings, has beautiful gardens and great service , all of which more than compensated for the 10 minute bike ride to town. It is also great value for money with large well kept rooms, free breakfast (and a large one at that), free Internet & wifi, free laundry, free bike usage. We would definitley stay here again"

"Only one very slightly negative comment (and this was from only one of the two rooms we occupied) - the room was very damp, and so was the bedding. As it was also very warm, this was not a major issue, but the beds in particular were noticeably damp.
On the other hand, the hotel itself was absolutely charming, the staff were friendly and very helpful, and the setting, with its beautiful gardens, was delightful. In addition, the location, well away from the bustle of Hoi An itself, but well within walking distance of the old town, adds considerable value for those who like private and quiet accommodation. Overall it was a special and memorable experience to stay at the Betel Garden and I would recommend it without hesitation."
